What are your accepted payment methods? top

Cash or direct deposit. Full Payments are accepted prior to the event or on the day. However, a deposit of 50% of the full booking rate is required to secure the booking.

 

Do travel rates apply? top

Our face painters are located all over Melbourne, but while we endeavour to send the painter closest to you, this is not always possible, therefore our travel rates are from St Kilda.

 

Are there cancellation or date change fees? top

Yes, if you fail to cancel in writing 5 days prior to the booking date, your deposit will be forfeited. Once we have received your written cancellation, we will email back to confirm that your cancellation has been received, and the deposit will be returned minus a $20 administration booking fee.  It is your responsibility to ensure that your cancellation email has been received by us, if you do not hear back in writing within 24 hours, we have not received it. For bookings cancelled less than 5 days prior to the booking date, deposits will be retained to cover any expenses in preparing for your event and possible lost work.

 

Do I need to make a deposit in advance to secure my booking? top

50% of full booking fee deposit is required to secure the booking date. Without a deposit, the booking will lapse after 3 days of your enquiry, and this is because if we receive enquiries for the same date and a commitment deposit from another event, this booking will take preference.

 

Do minimum times for bookings apply? top

Yes, there is a 2 hour minimum for bookings up to 25km from St Kilda, the minimums change after this, please refer to our rates page for this information.

 

Can I increase or decrease the booking time on the day? top

You are able to decrease the booking time on the day, but the full agreed charge will still apply as we may have potentially turned away other bookings. Booking times can be increased when larger amounts of people arrive at your event than you anticipated and were not quoted for, only if the face painter at your booking is able to stay and you agree to the extra charge as per our rates list.

How many faces can you paint at an event? top

This also depends on how elaborate you would like the designs to be, we can reduce the time we spend with each person to suit your budget – a 3 minute face will be less detailed than a 6 minute face.

What paints do you use? top

We use Kryolan which is water based, not toxic and hyper allergenic.

 

How do I remove the paints? top

Easy, soap and water or face wipes.

 

What equipment do you supply? top

We arrive with table, chairs, and face painting supplies. All we require is a protected area to paint in, shaded from sun, wind and rain.
